Glad this week is over!

Not sure why but I was in a really pissy mood all week and very, very tired.  I suspect it might be hormonal which isn’t good news but I am going to put off the visit to the gynae until after our trip back to Scotland.  Really should have gotten rid of the unused female parts years ago and save myself some grief. Anyway, the gloom seems to have suddenly lifted today, actually about 10am this morning, to be precise, which was a relief as even I was sick of sullen face!

As a consequent of my mood, work has been a nightmare this week, not helped by the continuing saga of messed up schedules. I know that Connie has been just dumped with the schedule but come on, after 4 wks, she is still getting it wrong!  Makes me realise I never want to be a manager, too much crap thrown at you and no-one is ever happy with you.

Off tomorrow and only 29 hrs this week which is more like the hours I want.  A small problem with the following week but at least its actually been scheduled nearly 2 wks in advance so it can be changed.  Tonight we are off to Georgetown to listen to some music in the park and look at some art.

Tomorrow, I am going to finish the May Bead journal page and start on April’s which will be based on St George’s day, not a day that was celebrated with joy when I was younger but in these days of increasing nationalism becoming more popular. Having lived in the USA for 8 yrs now, listening to the national anthem for every little event and seeing the Flag in almost very yard at some point, I am not so sure nationalism is such a good thing.  Pride is good but unfaltering belief that every thing in your nation does, maybe not so good.  The English were bad in that way when I was younger, ‘we were the Empire’ attitude but it just leads to contempt in other nationalities.   Anyway enough of that politically charged comment, way too dangerous a topic for me to tackle!

  1. Don’t be in too much of a hurry to get rid of your “unused parts” – the state of our hospital systems you might end up worse off – so many super bugs about – also I have a sneaking feeling that its not the organs themselves – we live in an Oestregen soaked environment – much of our eggs and meat etc have been fed with Oestregen to make them fatter and bigger and grow faster – also have a sneaking feeling that the environmental poisons we touch every day of our lives – cleaning chemicals etc are making us all suffer more than we should be – and are they unused? Who knows what service these organs which are meant to be with us till we die and have their place not just as humidicribs for new life – who knows what services they may be providing for our bodies . The Allopathic Medical system we are exposed to is pretty insane and very male run – the word Hysterectomy comes from “Hysterical” which is what they cic to women in the early 20th cent who had just had enough of all the crap finally and hence were judged :hysterical” – they butchered them and many died from that butchery – the others returned home physically shocked at what many of them were forced to go through in order not to be committed – its a shameful period in medical history because often husbands forced wives to have these surgeries or be committed – thus the women generally went along. Mum came home subdued alright, not game to open her trap and just glad to be alive.

I have four sisters. There are only two of us with all our bits and pieces and we are all menopausal bar the youngest one (she’s still got hers) we all have hot flushes – we are all eccentric I guess, but they suffer as much as I do when the Menopausal symptoms are bad.

If there is Cervical cancer or something like that then I’d be the first on the table.

Not preaching to you but think about it first its not like a rite of passage… I worry about anyone going near doctors and surgery – which is fair enough.
