Well, an Alaskan housewife could be president

if McCain wins. Now that’s a turn in the books.

Not being able to vote, means that despite paying taxes I am just an interested bystander in all this and I am very careful not say what my leanings are in public normally  but being an Expat from Europe, it would be hard  not to  discern.

Weird to think a woman who was mayor of a town with a population  smaller than the size of Kinross, only 18 month ago, could end up being the most powerful person in the world.  The population of London (7,355,400) is greater than the whole Alaska(670,053)!  Of course to all republicans  she is the ideal choice.  Pro Life, NRA member, Mother of 5 (including one just born in April who has down’s syndrome), pro drilling in Alaskan, hockey Mom, Mother of a serving service man!  The list goes on and on.  She is even being investigated on corruption charges. Wow, a brilliant choice for the Conservative right but I really hope it doesn’t happen but going on the polls over here, it could!
