thank goodness for the autumn lineup on TV, an excuse to just sit back and veg out!
Current favourite shows:
Mondays
Terminator: the Sarah Connor Chronicles
Chuck – returning Monday nights
Heroes – Silas is back yeah!
Tuesdays
House
Fringe – brilliant new sc fi show from the makers of Lost
The Mentalist – saw the pilot show on Friday and it was good, so has been added to the list.
Gavin and Stacey – British comedy series. Brings back memories of living in Newport and going to Barry Island
Without a Trace
Eli Stone- nice fantasy
Wednesdays
Bones
Pushing Up Daisies – back this week!
Thursdays
ER-god the 1st episode last Thursday had me sobbing my heart out
Ugly Betty
My Name is Earl
Kath and Kim – new program. It looks good in the commercials so will give it a try
The Office
Life on Mars – new program based on a BBC series. That was good so will tune in to see how this turns out.
CSI
Fridays
Bill Maher – appears to be only decent program on a Friday night
Saturday nights appear to a complete wash out as well, so it catch up time on the DVR or going to the movies time
Sundays are a wash out at the moment as well, hence the reason I am on the PC at this time of night.
Just as well we have a DVR, saves us seeing all those commercials and a one hour show only lasts 45 -50 mins plus I get to see them when I don’t feel in the mood to be creative – actually that is most of the time!
I am sure there are some programs I have missed or aren’t starting until the winter season in January like Lost. No doubt some will be cancelled as well, but I have high hopes for the 2 new ones I am watching at the at the moment. Reality shows are a bust with me, they might have entertaining the 1st couple of seasons but then the contestants get savvy (or think they do) with what the viewers want or wanted last season and then the novelty is lost. So no Supernanny, Survivor, Dancing with the Stars, Idol etc. for this viewer thanks very much.

Did you keep ER for me?
I completely forgot about it

I hope Kath and Kim U.S. style translates but if you want to see a really bizarre comedy see if you can get the original Australian series…
I hope that they run it over there as I know they have changed it to make it understandable in the US, really not giving people the benefit to see something from another culture fresh and funny.
I love My name is Earl!
