didn’t keep a record of what happened this weekend as it was not a normal weekend at all (are weekend’s ever normal?).
Basically on Saturday we continued to do the patio which has turned out to be a much more complex project that anticipated (surprise its not as easy as they say on the video!) Next weekend we will get it complete, probably without Alan help much as Gordon knew it would happen. Well, at least it got started, if we waited for Gordon it would still be in the planning stage this time next year. However, he was right, we didn’t plan it out right so its taking longer than it should.
On Saturday evening, Elisabeth came over for dinner with her friend Kelly, so we had a really nice relaxed evening with lots of sounds of activity and joy in the house. I miss that buzz, I must admit.

Sunday was fairly quiet. Gordon bottled his wine and transferred his beer from the bucket to the demi john. I went to the gym and exercised my butt off for 45 mins plus tried and failed to do a step class. Needs way too much co-0rdination for me. Sunday evening I finally finished the beaded doll I was doing of Alan.

I just started catching up as its been a while since I visited…I love the dolls…with names! I have had to be away a bit from home, luckily to see my daughters and then again this week coming for another week -just getting a few more varicose veins sorted… hope alls well in your world…will be in better contact when things settle a bit. Have to admit when I am away from home this place gets beyond me especially as its summer and growing green and fast.
