I present to you the new Mr and Mrs Harvey English

Elisabeth is a old married lady of a week and day, already.

We had a wonderful day of celebration with family and friends. We couldn’t have asked for a better day, the temperature was in the low 70′, the sun was bright and there was a slight wind.

In the morning, Elisabeth, Emily, Elly the maid of honour and myself had our hair done while drinking mimosas .  After that it was a short drive to the wedding venue which was at Harvey’s parents homestead.  Elisabeth and the girls got ready at the house while we got ready at the hotel, which was situated at Brenham, about 10 miles away.

On the drive to the house, Gordon was a little tense as he worried about the ‘speech’ but I was fine.  I went upstairs to room Elisabeth was getting ready saw her and promptly burst into tears. She looked so beautiful in her dress.

Downstairs, the groom was looking tense but happy. We went  outside and waited for the service to start.  First the flower girl came down and then Auggie, Harvey’s nephew was wheeled down to join his Dad, the best man.  Finally the moment when Elisabeth in all her glory came down on the arm of her Dad who looked so proud.  10 mins later with an apache blessing, they were joined together as man and wife. 🙂

Thanks to Gabe, for some of the photos here and Lindsey Davidson, make up artist extraordinare. Also lots of thanks to Harvey’s parents for letting us have the wedding in such a lovely setting
